The Lord Jesus Christ is the
truth!
John 1:14 The Word became
flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the
One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and
the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 18:37 "You are a king, then!" said
Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for
this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the
truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."

Who
is the Lord Jesus Christ?
Only
the most important person alive today, that's who!
We hope and
pray that your local community will hear an outpouring of testimony
about a living Saviour. A Saviour mighty enough to save every one of them who
comes to him. Only by working with him can we reap a rich harvest of true
disciples of the living Lord God.
God's call to the Church
of his ardent disciples has always been incredibly loud and clear! Mt 28: 16
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told
them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. 18 Then
Jesus came to them and said, "All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(NIV bible)
The essential part of
this glorious command is; "And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The secret of all
successful Christian work is having a team of people who live daily in a close
union with Christ Jesus and each other, Jn 13:34-35.
God lays down the
qualification for being his disciple, Jn 14:23 Jesus replied, "If
anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will
come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me will
not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the
Father who sent me."
Matthew 4:23 Jesus went
throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the
kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about
him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with
various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having
seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25 Large crowds from Galilee,
the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.
5:1 Now when he saw the
crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,
2 and he began to teach
them, saying:
3 "Blessed are the
poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who
mourn, for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, for
they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who
hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in
heart, for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the
peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who
are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 "Blessed are you
when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against
you because of me.
12 Rejoice and be glad,
because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the
prophets who were before you.
13 "You are the salt
of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty
again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled
by men.
14 "You are the light
of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a
lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives
light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before
men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
17 "Do not think that
I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them
but to fulfill them. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear,
not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means
disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Anyone who breaks
one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be
called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these
commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that
unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of
the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
